From the results below taken while simultaneoulsy executing [cottrell@cit-slac11 ~]$ date ; ifconfig ; iperf -c 192.91.239.2 -w 32768k -p 5014 -i 5 -t 300; ifconfig ; dat e Sat Jan 11 12:50:15 PST 2003 from SNV11 to GVA2, it appears there is 8% ping loss, and also ifconfig shows 5 interface receive errors (4902-4897). Nb. no errors were reported by ifconfig at SNV11 during this test. Results of pinging SNV11 from GVA2 while running iperf in opposite direction.
